General information:
Hotel De Looier, a former diamond factory built in 1886, has been recently renovated and changed into a three star hotel. All necessary facilities are available for our business guests. The hotel is located in the city centre, in a quiet street of the well-known Jordaan (garden) area. Within a fifteen minutes walk you can easily reach all the most important places of interest.
A five minutes walk leads you to the main entertainment area called Leidseplein. Here you will find hundreds of restaurants, bars, discos, coffee shops, the casino, etc... Another five minutes walk takes you to the main museum quarter: Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt), Van Gogh and the modern art. The Anne Frank house is a ten minutes walk from hotel. This is the perfect hide-out for a long weekend in Amsterdam, but professionals who are looking for something different also enjoy their stay at the Hotel De Looier.
Parking is available in the environs of the building. It will be possible to reserve the excursions from the hotel, departures every morning. Rent bicycles: Approx 7 EUR/day (in reception) Discount of 50% in the bar "Roll In and Roll Out" (of Tuesday to Friday)after the first or second glass.
Hotel De Looier offers 29 up-to-date renovated rooms, an elevator and accommodation for 70 guests. We can offer you different types of accommodation such as a a twin/double, a triple room or a family room. Each room is equipped with shower, hair dryer, private safe, cable television and direct dial telephone.
All necessary facilities are available for our business guests (fax, telex, direct dial telephone, courier service, etc.). Our staff will be glad to offer you any information about Amsterdam events and exhibitions. As far as tours and excursions are concerned you can book them at the hotel and, every morning, the pick up point is located nearby. Breakfast buffet is served in the hotel's breakfast room. Cancellation Policy Hotel de Looier Amsterdam:
Your credit card details are required to guarantee your booking up to your arrival at the hotel. Payment will be made exclusively to the hotel. If you cannot take up your booking,you need to cancel no later than 2 days before your date of arrival. Please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0.00 am (CET.) Any booking not taken up and not cancelled 2 day(s) before arrival will be billed at a cost equivalent to the price of the first night. A different cancellation policy applies for group bookings. For groupbookings ( from 8 rooms or more ) the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) apply.
