Hotel NieuwAmsterdam is a cosy family hotel with well-appointed rooms, a rustic bar and a conversation/recreational area with a television and a pool table. The hotel is located within a 5-minute walk from the centre of Valkenburg. The train and bus station are a mere 2-minute stroll.

The hotel offers an outside terrace on the street side and an elevator takes you up to your room. Furthermore the hotel has a private parking area for its guests. Since 3 January 2008 the hotel has new owners.
